In the design of a small mosque, we have the opportunity to create a sacred space that harmoniously blends tradition with contemporary aesthetics. Inspired by the principles of Islamic architecture and modern design, our vision for this mosque includes three staggered roofs that not only pay homage to traditional mosque design but also introduce a contemporary touch. Through thoughtful integration of form, function, and symbolism, we aim to create a mosque that serves as a spiritual sanctuary and a visual landmark within the community. The defining feature of our small mosque design is the incorporation of three staggered roofs, each rising in succession towards the qibla wall. These roofs are inspired by the traditional domes and minarets found in classical mosque architecture but are reinterpreted in a contemporary manner. The staggered arrangement creates a dynamic and visually striking silhouette, symbolizing the ascent towards spiritual enlightenment and divine connection.
In addition to the staggered roof design, the mosque incorporates several contemporary architectural elements that add a modern touch to the traditional form. Clean lines, geometric shapes, and minimalist detailing characterize the exterior facade, creating a sense of simplicity and elegance.

Central to the design is the integration of natural light to create a luminous and uplifting interior environment. Large windows, skylights, and clerestory openings are strategically positioned to maximize daylight penetration while minimizing glare and heat gain. This emphasis on natural light not only reduces the mosque's energy consumption but also enhances the spiritual experience of worshippers by connecting them with the ever-changing beauty of the natural world.
Inside the mosque, flexible interior spaces are designed to accommodate a variety of worship activities and community gatherings. The main prayer hall features an open layout with movable partitions that can be adjusted to create separate prayer areas or opened up to accommodate larger congregations during special events. Auxiliary spaces, such as classrooms, meeting rooms, and ablution facilities, are seamlessly integrated into the design to enhance functionality and accessibility for worshippers and visitors alike.
