Being the first of its kind to be built in the vicinity, the park aims to become a local gem, cultivating a healthy lifestyle besides building connections within the community. The extensive array of amenities is complemented by an inviting atmosphere featuring lively shades of blue, yellow, and orange. This vibrant palette sets the stage for a playful and inclusive ambience that appeals to individuals of every age group. The park even comes alive at night; offering the possibility of a work-life balance for both the working force and students in the area.
In terms of design language, the perforated facade which envelops the futsal and badminton courts acts as a focal point to the overall sports park. Furthermore, the perforations in the metal facade add visual interest, especially during daylight hours when the interplay between light and shadow captivates the scene.
Looking at materiality, the sports park is a harmonious combination of mostly metal and concrete elements, with subtle touches of glass. This composition is thoughtfully balanced by open-air spaces, effectively creating a harmonious interaction between solid structures and negative space. In addition to their durability, these materials create a contemporary atmosphere, well-suited to the context and building function.
