"Merging Nordic Elegance with Functional Innovation"

In response to the client's request for a functional and practical modern office with a design concept inspired by 'nordic design interior architecture' while maximizing natural light, our approach focused on meticulous attention to detail and thoughtful consideration of every aspect of the space. We carefully selected materials and elements to meet the client's specifications while ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetics. For the flooring, we opted for an epoxy finish with the texture of sandstones, providing a warm sandy feel that absorbs noise effectively without sacrificing durability. LED lighting was incorporated to save energy and promote sustainability, aligning with the client's commitment to environmental responsibility. Key requirements included a new reception area, an open-concept office accommodating 50 working tables, manager rooms, quiet rooms for phone calls, discussion rooms, an enclosed glass pantry, and standing amenities such as coffee machines. Additional spaces such as a conference room, visitor's lounge, nursing room, prayer room, survey equipment storage, cleaning room, and archive room were also integrated into the design.

In addition to meeting functional needs, our design philosophy extended to encompassing the broader goals and values of the client's business. We proposed an 'open collaborative space' inspired by European working culture to foster communication, creativity, and productivity among employees. This multifunctional area serves as a hub for various activities, from leisure conversations to meetings and lectures, providing flexibility and freedom for users. Located in a semi-public area, the open collaborative space allows for versatile use and encourages interaction among employees, reflecting the company's commitment to enhancing human connection and collaboration.

Reception and Waiting Area

The Reception and Waiting Area serves as the inviting gateway to our office, offering guests a glimpse into the tranquil and harmonious atmosphere that defines our workspace. Nestled right at the entrance, this space exudes a sense of calm and tranquility, instantly transporting visitors to a world of natural wonders. Drawing inspiration from Nordic and Japanese design aesthetics, the space seamlessly marries minimalism with warmth, creating a welcoming ambiance that resonates with the neighboring Open Collaborative Space. Large windows flood the area with natural light, illuminating the timber flooring that envelops the space, extending seamlessly to the wall panels and ceiling to create a cohesive and inviting environment. A stone tile-clad reception desk anchors the space, complemented by warm sand-colored stucco finishes that showcase the essence of our office concept. Minimal desk lamps in pine forest green add a subtle touch of color, mirroring the panels dividing the Reception and Waiting Area from the Open Collaborative Space, effectively connecting the two spaces while maintaining their distinct functions. Cleverly concealed behind the reception desk is a hidden storage cabinet, seamlessly integrated into the design to provide practical functionality without sacrificing aesthetics. With its thoughtful composition and meticulous attention to detail, the Reception and Waiting Area serves as a testament to our design expertise, offering guests a memorable and immersive introduction to our office environment.

Open Collaboration Space

The Open Collaborative Space epitomizes our commitment to fostering creativity, collaboration, and innovation within our workspace. Designed as a dynamic and flexible environment, this multifunctional space encourages free-flowing communication and idea exchange among team members. Key design elements, such as large louvered fins, create subtle divisions within the space while maintaining an open and interconnected feel. The choice of pine forest green reflects the lushness of vegetation, infusing the area with a sense of vitality and rejuvenation. Waffle-style ceiling lights softly illuminate the space, creating a warm and inviting ambiance conducive to creative thinking. At the center of the wall, a large art piece serves as a focal point, inspiring open-mindedness and imagination. Unlike traditional lecture halls, the seating arrangement in this space is leveled, with a unique twist—the speaker sits on the ground while the seats are elevated, promoting a sense of equality and inclusivity. Cleverly designed shelving within the steps of the seats adds functionality without compromising aesthetics. Behind the seating area, a row of tall plants creates a natural barrier, providing privacy for adjacent meeting rooms while enhancing the overall greenery and tranquility of the space. In essence, the Open Collaborative Space embodies our vision of a vibrant and dynamic workspace where ideas flourish and innovation thrives.

Quite Rooms

The Quiet Rooms offer a sanctuary for individuals seeking privacy and solitude in the midst of a bustling office environment. Strategically positioned in front of the reception area, these individual units provide a discreet space for private phone calls, confidential meetings, or moments of focused work. While hidden from direct view upon entering the office, they are conveniently located near the entrance for easy access. This thoughtful placement showcases NCA's expertise in spatial layout planning and design, with careful consideration given to both functionality and psychological well-being. By providing a quiet and secluded retreat, the Quiet Rooms ensure that users can find moments of tranquility and concentration amidst the dynamic energy of the workplace.

Locker Storage

The Locker Storage Space serves as a practical and integral component of our office design, offering convenient storage solutions while seamlessly integrating with our overarching concept. Positioned strategically along the corridor, overlooking the open concept workspace, this area provides 14 lockers for the storage needs of staff and users alike. Embracing a clean and minimal Nordic design aesthetic, the space features a central seating lounge, providing a designated area for individuals to sit and sort through belongings. Every aspect and function of the locker storage space has been carefully considered to ensure optimal practicality without sacrificing aesthetics. By incorporating elements of our design concept, such as clean lines and minimalist features, the space aligns seamlessly with the overall ambiance of the office, fostering a sense of unity and coherence throughout. Beyond its visual appeal, the locker storage space plays a crucial role in enhancing workflow efficiency and organization, enabling users to maintain a tidy and clutter-free workspace. In essence, this space exemplifies our commitment to thoughtful design and functionality, offering a practical solution that complements our design concept while meeting the diverse needs of our team members.

World Clock Feature Wall

Nestled within the office space, the Feature World Clock Feature Wall serves as a visual symbol of the company's global reach and interconnectedness. Adorned with fluted wall panels in tranquil shades of blue, it invites individuals to pause and reflect on the company's international presence. Strategically placed in a corridor connecting two spaces, the wall not only facilitates communication across branches but also fosters a sense of unity among employees. By displaying time zones of key locations worldwide, it serves both a practical function and a symbolic reminder of the company's commitment to global connectivity. In essence, the Feature World Clock Feature Wall inspires connection, cultivates unity, and embodies the company's values and aspirations in a single, striking design element.

Meeting Room

Step into our Nordic-inspired meeting room, where functionality meets aesthetics in perfect harmony. Designed for up to 12 people, this clean and contemporary space features warm sandy textured walls and sound insulation dampening panels on the ceiling, creating a serene ambiance conducive to focused discussions. Timber-finished wall panels frame the room, drawing attention to the sleek TV screen positioned for optimal visibility, fostering engagement and attentiveness. Adjacent to the 'open collaborative space,' a ribbon frosted glass panel partition seamlessly integrates privacy with connectivity, expanding horizons of thought and encouraging broader perspectives. This thoughtfully crafted space is a sanctuary for clarity and creativity, providing the perfect environment for unlocking potential and achieving shared goals.

Meeting Room

Drawing inspiration from the company's mission to provide clean water and eco-friendly solutions, our design concept reflects the vision of an aquatic paradise and natural wonders. Elements inspired by the sands of the beach and the clean vast ocean evoke a sense of tranquility and harmony with nature. Emphasizing the purest state of things, the design focuses on the raw natural beauty of the planet, creating an immersive experience that aligns with the company's goals and ambitions. To communicate our vision effectively, we crafted a mood board as a piece of fine art, visually depicting the concept and ambiance of the interior project.

Private Office Rooms

The design of the private office rooms embodies simplicity and sophistication, seamlessly integrating form and function within the confines of a minimalist aesthetic. Featuring curved tables evoking the organic shapes found in nature, and walls adorned with stucco finishes on one side and matte-finished tiles on the other, these intimate spaces offer a harmonious blend of texture and tone. Despite their compact size, strategic design elements create a sense of spaciousness, fostering an environment of openness and clarity conducive to enhanced productivity and focus.

Open Concept Office

In the Open Concept Office Space, our design ethos revolves around fostering communication, collaboration, and productivity. At the client's request, we crafted a space that seamlessly integrates functionality with aesthetics, delivering an environment that promotes connectivity and synergy among team members. With ample natural light streaming in through the surrounding windows, the space is bright and inviting, creating a refreshing ambiance conducive to creativity and focus. A total of 48 tables, strategically arranged on either side, provide ample workspace for staff, while indoor plants dotted throughout the space add a touch of greenery and vitality, reflecting the concept of bringing the outdoors in. Additionally, we incorporated a library and storage areas to cater to the practical needs of the staff, ensuring that both work and relaxation are seamlessly integrated into the office environment. By encouraging communication and collaboration, we believe that we have created a space that not only enhances the quality of work but also fosters a sense of community and belonging among employees.

Open Resource Centre & Workspace

In the Open Resource Centre and Workspace, we've reimagined the traditional office setting to offer a dynamic and versatile environment that encourages productivity, collaboration, and innovation. Serving as a workspace library and repository of essential business information, this multifunctional space is designed to empower staff members with the flexibility and freedom to choose where and how they work. Featuring a bar-style table at its center, the space blurs the lines between office and library, fostering a holistic approach to work. Raised slightly on a timber deck, the area creates a subtle sense of separation while maintaining an open and inclusive atmosphere.

Open Resource Centre & Workspace

Shelves stocked with books and important resources, lounge seats, and storage cabinets provide both inspiration and practicality, catering to the diverse needs of employees. Along the opposite side of the space, another bar-style table offers a slightly separated yet equally flexible workspace, further expanding the options for collaboration and individual focus. In essence, the Open Resource Centre and Workspace embodies our commitment to innovation and empowerment, providing a hub for creativity, knowledge sharing, and professional growth.

Break room

In the Breakroom Space, we've created a tranquil retreat where staff members can recharge, refocus, and rejuvenate amidst the demands of the workday. Designed with the well-being of our team in mind, this serene oasis offers a sanctuary for relaxation and renewal. At its heart are bunk bed-like sleeping pods, providing cozy nooks for staff to rest and re-energize during breaks. Nestled alongside are comfortable lounges and a designated corner for meditation, offering opportunities for quiet reflection and mindfulness practice. With its minimalist design and calming ambiance, the Breakroom Space serves as a haven for recollecting the mind and finding inner peace, promoting mental clarity and emotional well-being for our valued team members.

KITCHEN PANTRY

The Kitchen Pantry is a vibrant hub where team members can gather, connect, and unwind in a welcoming atmosphere. Designed to reflect our overarching concept, this space seamlessly blends functionality with style, creating a culinary haven that embodies our commitment to excellence. At its heart is a boxed-up pantry station flanked by a long bar table, providing ample seating for up to 8 people. Standing amenities, including a bar-style table for 4 and a cozy diner-style booth for 4, offer additional options for dining and socializing. The design features stone cladding on the main bar table, complemented by dark grey floor tiles that add a touch of sophistication. A featured terrazzo tiles bordering the bar table adds visual interest and elegance to the space. Nestled within the main bar table is a small indoor planter box, infusing the area with greenery and fostering a sense of peace and tranquility. With its inviting ambiance and thoughtful design elements, the Kitchen Pantry serves as a focal point for culinary delights and camaraderie, enhancing the overall workplace experience for our valued team members.
